2 Corinthians 9:7
...as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
Why Give?
Giving is a form of Worship. We not only worship with our tangible gifts but with our talents, time, prayer and service unto the Lord. "For God so loved the world that He gave his only Son, Jesus, to sacrifice Himself for our sins".
Through giving, we are able to sow into the ministry so we can fulfill God’s commandment to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As the Gospel is shared, souls are saved, bodies are healed and delivered.
Giving is not about the quantity of the gift but God always looks upon our hearts and honors the intent of the giver.
